Icing on the cake

Here is an awesome dessert-themed claymation I found on Cake Wrecks. I really admire people who have the patience and talent to create something so meticulous and time-intensive because I have absolutely no patience! I am so incredibly fascinated by the details that have been carefully sculpted in every single frame and I really appreciate how much caring and craftsmanship was put into this endeavor.

This is an amazing video. I especially enjoyed the end where the people melt back as decorations on the cake.

Wow, great find. As an animator, I know how frustrating stop-motion can be--there's no going back once you've started. The amount of patience you have directly translates to the quality of your work, haha. Do you know anything about this piece? The animators have a fabulous sense of mass and weight.

Watch this video. I also find myself impressed by people who have so much patience to work on something for that long and have such a short video as the outcome.

this video is great. you should try doing stop-motion if it is something you are interested in. i think that it can be really fun even though it requires patience. turning still images into a flip book is also pretty fun.
